How much do you think my laptop/accessories are worth?

I want to sell my laptop but have no clue what price to ask. I was thinking around $450 for everything but am not sure if it's worth that much or if I could get more *shrugs*

Here are the specs:

Pentium II 400mhz CPU
384 MB PC100 RAM
Onboard Rage LT Pro AGP 2x Video
Composite In / Out & VGA out / 15" LCD (1 bad pixel)
2 USB Ports, 1 parrellel, 1 serial, 1 ps/2 mouse/keyboard, 1 Infrared Port
2 other ports that I don't know what they are
Onboard ESS Maestro2 PCI Audio
Teac 24x CDRom (removable)
LS120 Floppy Drive (removable - 2nd battery goes here)
Touchpad as well as eraser nub
Extra Battery (total life of 3 hours with both batteries)
AC Adaptor

Extras:
Earthmate USB GPS w/ Delorme Map software
Cordless Compaq Optical Mouse
MS MN-520 Wireless PCMCIA
Generic 3 piece speakers/sub (onboard speakers as well)
AC/DC Power Converter w/ 2 outlets to run laptop in car w/ charger
Padded Case to carry the laptop/accessories in.

There is a single bad pixel on the screen. It shows up red and I bought the laptop with that bad pixel. It hasn't spread and the lcd is still perfect. The button that ejects the cdrom popped off so it's hard to slide the cdrom out (don't know why you'd want to) Extra battery (or floppy if installed) is loose so the extra battery slides out on you if you jerk the laptop around. I'm sure it's easily fixed. Also if you run the floppy and cdrom at the same time they conflict, they both want to be the secondary master for some reason. I'm sure this is also easily fixable but I never use the floppy so I never cared about it. They work perfect when used independently.

So what do you guys think it's all worth? I have pics here:

I was looking for a modded xbox and someone offered me a 1.0 xbox with samsung dvd, x3.2b mod chip, 120gig hdd, all software preloaded and plenty of games on it, with blue led mods to light it all up pretty like. I dunno if I should go for the trade or try and sell the laptop on ebay or something and mod the xbox myself for the fun 🙂

Please give me some advice

You can get a brand new Dell for 699.00 with 384 megs RAM and a DVD/Combo drive. I see little sense in buying outdated technology. You should give it to a family member to use until it dies at which time it goes in the dumpster?

If you want a price check, go eBay.

But yea, FYI, you can get a new Inspiron 1100, Celeron 2Ghz+, etc etc for 699 shipped.

Well, aside from the fact that you know you posted in the wrong forum....

Your laptop is good for:

Checking email
Light-duty surfing (384mb of RAM is decent)
Typing documents in MS Word
Solitaire

If you REALLY need the money, offer it all for $200 and see what happens. Otherwise hold on to it. It's decent for taking on business trips, just to stay in touch.
