Hey guys,

As the title says, I just need a small favor from you guys, esp. from the "veteran" traders, could you guys tell how much is my Asus W5A 12.1" laptop really worth now? My wife first bought me this laptop when it was newly release in TAIWAN which was a few years back. In fact, the manuals are still in chinese & the keyboard has both English & chinese characters, and YES it is a GENUINE ASUS not, some chinese counterfiet or reverse engineering laptop 🙂

Now after a few years, I'm thinking of selling it, but if it is only worth less than $150, I think I might just keep it and use it until it is dead. I remember this thing cost us about $1600 USD last time. Right now, everything is still working great, well except for the battery. So basically, this where you guys come in and let me know if it is worth it to sell or keep it.

Please NO THREAD CRAPPING, I just need a straight forward honest answer.

here is the spec:
Intel Centrino 1.86 Ghz
1256 MB DDR2-4200 RAM(upgraded)
120GB Seagate 5400 RPM HD (upgraded)
12.1" LCD
Built-in Video-CAM
Media card reader
Wireless/Modem/LAN jack
ASUS (logitech) wireless mouse
ASUS laptop sleeve
White Color
Windows XP Home

It is still in MINT condition (I took really great care this past few years) and a pretty "fast" little lappy actually, NO CRACK whatsoever.
Here is a pic of it.

Thanks again for all the help

I think you should be able to get more than $150 for it, even from your local craigslist.
The CPU is still faster than any Atom netbook, and just tag slower than CULV celeron 743.

If everything works well, I would think you should upgrade the HD w/ SSD and keep it for yourself. ( seriously, upgrade to SSD truely make huge different for less powerful cup )
