ive in the last few hours realized i went a tad overboard on a media center pc.
it is gorgeous, but i think id rather utilize the parts i have lying around than to empty my bank account..

Aspire X-Qpack black/silver blue interior lighting
athlon 64 3000+ venice, retail with cooling w artic silver applied
biostar Tforce s939 motherboard
Radeon x800 GTO2 flashed into a x850 XT PE :) slightly higher memory timings
1gb 512x2 pc3200 Kingmax
2x300gb maxtor diamondmax 10 SATA hds with 16mb buffer.
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Gamers ZS
Sony DRU800 dvdrw

it aquamarks at 67,000 with no overclocking done to the cpu yet and little system tweaking.

like i said ive got a few athlon xps layin around and a 9600xt aiw that will suffice for a machine that mostly downloads anyways.
to give this rig the setup it deserves id need a 21" widescreen monitor... logitech mx5000 duo.. a ton of other stuff, and a media center extender. so i figure selling it now will stop me from unnessicarrily putting more money into it...

so what do you think?

1. Look up the price on newegg.
2. Depending on age subtract a decent amount of money.
3. Sell PARTED OUT (important) to people on FS/FT forums
4. PROFIT!

eh i just built it threw xp mce2005 on it and descided i didnt really need that much.. my laptop suffices for everything and ittl free up my HDMI port for the ps3 when it comes out, o i forgot all about the monster 600 series dvi>hdmi.. can sell that too.. sweet..

so yah not sure whether id get more on ebay or what.. i was thinking 14-1500 or so

if someone wants a good gaming pc but cant build thier own i think thats about fair.. maybe too fair.

should i OC the cpu for them before i try to sell it to get more for it?

then id be looking at about... 100.. 150.. 200.. 220... 30... 400 to get set back up with another matx case/mobo, ram, another 600 gigs prolly parallel, and a vga>composite adapter.
