I never cook or go grocery shopping, so I eat out everyday. I haven't really kept count, but I'd guess probably 400-500 a month.

i spend about 200/mo on food whether it be groceries or eating out. That feeds myself, and my girlfriend once or twice a week. I eat a lot of pasta and burritos... stuff that is easy to make and has lots of leftovers.

a month? shoot lets see about $250-300 for 3 people. (well me my wife and 2 year old daughter)

we eat a LOT of chicken and turkey and its not cheap. We do eat red meat but usually its on the grill so it has to be nice weather.

WE also go through a LOT of milk, cheese and bread.

Of course fruit and that is expensive around here. At least it cost more then junk food.

About $150 for 1.5 people, alcohol not included. The food varies greatly from ramen to fresh meats and vegetables. I don't buy snack food though.

f*ck dude. that's rough. can you bum a good meal off your parents or friends once in a while? ramen, tuna and carrots don't provide enough of the vitamins and minerals that you need.

Damn.

Either you eat steak every night, or you have the metabolism of a hummingbird. :p

I work 5 AM - 9:15 PM, every meal I eat is away from home. I don't cook or grocery shop, you do the math.

I spend $15-20 every weekday, & more on weekends.

If I had $1000000, we wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner.
But we would eat Kraft Dinner. Of course we would we'd just eat more. :D

I spend probably about $75/week on food for home, and probably about $150/week or so on eating out :(. I love good food, so I have a tendency to spend far too much. I'm going to soon start cutting way back on eating out.

How much is your internet connection/cable TV/new clothes/new video card/etc. costing you per month?

I'm sorry, but if you do, in fact, have a job and can only afford to spend $30/mo. on food, something's not right. If you don't have a job and are paying your own tuition, then maybe it's time to get another loan.

$30 for a month's worth of food is not only unhealthy, it's downright dangerous.

hahahah, we have the 30 dollars a month internet deal from sbc and my roomates pay my share for me. I'm currently using my awesome athlon 500mhz with voodoo3 video card. This thing is really smoking. I don't buy new clothes. Full time student plus working on campus. I'm doing fine, I feel fine just riding it out till graduation. Its really expensive living in a college town where rent goes up 5% every year even if you don't move.

Been there, done that.
Yeah, I had to do that once a while in college too and I was working on campus too.

back in college, I spent $50 a month.

buy like bulk hotdogs, ramen, other cheap stuff like crackers and peanut butter. Find inventive combos of those things. Also, I would buy a pizza and eat a slice a day for 8 days. And water, lots of water. Try to get some iced tea mix to put in it for flavor.
