How much do you spend for a night out with friends?

Let's say you and some of your friends want to go out to eat dinner over a weekend, maybe see a movie or a play or a sports event, and maybe afterwards go to a bar and do something. How much do you usually spend for that night?

Let's see... a night out with the guys, for me, entails food and drink at a sports bar, followed by some entertainment at the strip club. The last outing I think I spent about $700 for myself and my buddy. What can I say... I really like them dancers! I do tip quite generously at my favorite bar too.

That's a lot of assumptions for someone who doesn't know me. Sadly, you are dead wrong about everything you said. In case you have difficulty reading, I'll clarify what I wrote: the $700 I spent was for TWO people; that's $350 each. It also covered dinner, drinks, tips, and cover charges for roughly 6 hours and several bars. It wasn't just on the dancers. You follow? Additionally, I overtip the stage dancers to help compensate for the a-holes who never tip them at all. $10/song isn't unusual for me, even if I'm not paying much attention to the dancer. So if you think I just sit there and throw $40 a pop for a bunch of lap dances in a row, I'm sorry to disappoint. I like women but I don't go out intending to get laid. I go out to have fun.
