free, free and free

have a gym at both work and my apartment complex that are free. I also have equipment at home.

$450 down...$0 a month...24 hour access.

A.K.A. my basement. Full lineup of dumbells and a nice incline/decline/flat bench.

Can't do as much as I could at a gym, but hey, it works for me. Next up is to get a smith machine.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that a higher price means better equipment. I went from a ymca membership to a private gym membership a few years ago because I thought it would be better. Among other things, there was band-aid on the floor of one of the showers for about three months, obviously meaning that no one bothered to clean them for at least that long.

Me and a friend chipped in and bought an olympic weight bench, olympic weight curl bar, clips, and 2 cheapo dumbells that we can put the weights we have on to go with his bench bar and 300lbs weight. cost us 80 bucks total, but we already had weights.
