How much do you pay for your extreme high speed internet?

I just got my $4.95 increase in the mail yesterday and I am finding it very difficult to see the justification for any increase.



6.5 Mbps download and 900 Kbps upload
With 12-month agreement Access fee $64.90/month CAD (including $4.95 increse)

Wondering how this compares to other plans.

8GB news quota (1GB per email)
no hassles

If I could get 384 up and a static IP for any cheaper, I would. But that seems to be as good as I can get both of those.

We used to have the special all of last year for $32.95/mo for the same speed. But then they raised prices and $45/mo only would get you 384k/128k!!! Somehow I ended up getting the fast one for $22.95/mo (!!!) but that was at my old house so it was only for a month or two. But now, with 4 other roommates, we have no choice but to get the most $$ one. C0ckgobblers...
