how much do you pay for movies?

just curious... on average, if you're buying a movie VHS or DVD ... how much do you pay for it? And where do you buy them? Who do you find has the best prices?

whoo.. haven't been here in a while 😛

just to clarify I did not mean in the movie theatres 😛

anyhow... do you guys ever go on half, ebay, etc or anything like that?

I don't buy much anymore, because I have Netflix and barely have time to watch the movies I rent. When I do buy a movie, I get it from CC/BB during the first week for $15ish. When I used to buy more movies, I'd get them through Columbia House for <$8 on average.

I don't buy VHS any more. And when I need DVDs, I just join CH and dump. Never pay more than $8 each with shipping.

I rent also. Unless its classics, which I must have🙂. (ie. LOTR triology, etc)

Same here. I could count on one hand the number of DVD's I bought in 2003.

I pay an average of $17 or so for the DVDs in my DVD collection (see sig... on Monday, DVD profiler is down)

I wait until Hasting's has a buy 2 get 1 free deal on used DVDs. Then maybe I end up spending about 3-6 dollars per DVD. Almost never buy them brand new.

Usually I give her $100 up front and bring my own film and lighting equipment that I stole from my old high school.
