Just got my 2010 statement, I pay just over $400 a month for me, my wife, and my 4yo daughter to have health, vision, and dental insurance. Thing that pisses me off is it isn't even awesome insurance! Still a $20 co-pay for a regular office visit and a $40 co-pay for a specialist. It sickens me to know that a lot of the population makes barely over 2x what I pay for insurance per month :( Obama! Save me!

$350 a month, $1500 a year deductible, no vision and no dental.
Being self employed is really great.

Obama save me? If they pass this bill and that idiot signs it you will be paying MORE.

Um, do you have any idea about current relative healthcare costs?

Me:
$0 Medical (paid by employer); $3/wk Dental

Wife:
$32/bi-weekly medical and dental

If I were to add any family members to my insurance it would be $183/wk Medical and $12/wk Dental.

changed plans next year to a 10/90 type of plan. will cost me about 120 a month to cover the family with dental/vision included. if i stayed with the most comprehensive insurance, would have cost about 220 a month. put half of the cost difference per year into an fsa and we'll see how it goes.

$197 for health and dental. I'm National Guard, though. $300 deductible and $1000 cap for my whole family isn't bad at all.

Single. Medical, $50/month, dental $2/month, vision free, disability $.36/month, life insurance $.85/month. Medical and dental are pretax.

I pay about $8/month for dental through my work. My wife gets it for free for herself through her work. She, our son, and I all get free medical and vision through her work as well. I can't imagine paying $4k-7k/year for health insurance like many of the people I know.

Myself is free, no union dues or anything, just free paid for by my employer. The downside is that the family plan is insane and is about 3/4 of a paycheck. So my wife has no insurance while she is in school and my daughter is on medicare.
