I currently pay A LOT! I pay 1032.00 every six months for two vehicles. How much do you pay?

Also, don't forget to include your age, and how many vehicles you are covered for. Thanks!

BTW, I'm 21 years old, two vehicles.

edit

Any of you have a payment plan with your insurance provider? With Geico I pay monthly instead of paying one lumpsum fee all at once. Anyone else take advantage of this?

You should also put it to include what type of vehicle.

Me? I don't know. My parents pay for it thankfully.

I don't currently drive, but I was paying over $1000 for liability only on a 1989 Accord.

If I were to get full coverage on a 1996 or so Civic I would pay around $2,200. A Z28 would cost me around $2,500.

$1650 for 6 months. 24/m, 1 high speeding ticket on record (15-30 range). Driving a 97 Acura CL 3.0. Live in NY.

EDIT: Thank god I am turning 25 in a few months and this will hopefully go down.

Try beating $2200 for every 6 months. I have tried everywhere but it's amazing how difficult it is to get good insurance on a sports car when you've got a few accidents, speeding tickets, and a wreckless driving ticket...

Oddly enough, I drive like an old woman now. :) And my car is being sold this week, hopefully. 2000 VW GTI VR6 w/mods.

I have but one speeding ticket on my record, & I would have to pay $300 more than that for the car I want (Z28).

My roommate was in the $2000+ range for every 6 months. Of course, he had just moved here from England, no driving record whatsoever, under 25, male, etc. After his first 6 months or so, it dropped down to about $1400 for the 6 months, also turned 25 during that time.

I pay $780/6 months, and the sick thing is that it is 50% of what my car payment is.

Sad thing for me is I'm 29 and live basically downtown. :( I don't care, though. There will be time for fast cars later on down the road.

Edit: It was the accident, speeding ticket, and wreckless driving all within a year span that really killed me...

Man I just called a place and they quoted me $1500.00 for a 92 Civic full coverage. And before that I got quoted $381.00 full coverage for the same exact car. Any reason why they all of a sudden yanked the price up? Maybe it was because the rep on the phone was really rude and didn't like my tone a lot either.
