Around 50 with that equation, but if you count my travel for work it would be less.

Not enough. Twelve hour days with paid lunches if you have time for one, 42 hour weeks w/ no overtime. I have the only job I am aware of that you can work two hours extra every week and not get paid overtime without being salary. We do get paid overtime if you work beyond that.

My job is to determine the annual income of people. I dig through 15+ lives per day, deciding if they are worthy of owning a home.

Believe me, that is not the formula we use.

Depend on who i am working for.

Sub contracting rates = AUD45
Direct Rates = AUD50
Install + weekend rates = AUD70

But i have to pay my own costs etc.

I think x/2080 is a better approximation. There's 52 weeks in the year, and most full-time professionals will have ~2 weeks off, but it's paid.

Used to make $30/hr, now $0/hr. Looking to get another position very soon, but pay might not be much over $20/hr.

For all the engineers out there, be a little more realistic and use annual salary/3500. This will account for all the screwage you get thanks to no overtime pay but expected overtime work.

Let's make it more fun:
Annual salary / (2085 + total annual commute time)

2085 = 5/7 (365) * 8

edit: since a typical full-time non-salaried employee's day is 8 hours long, but 1/2 hour lunch isn't paid for, 5/7 (365)*7.5 = 1955

Approx 261 weekdays in the year.
I work from home 1 weekday per week ...
6 holiday (assume 3 are the day I work at home since they make all holidays Mon or Fri, and I work from home on Fri)
15 vacation days (assume 3 are the day I work at home)
2 floating holidays ...
6 sick days ... (If I'm workin from home I'll work through bein sick since I can't get anyone else sick)
80% of 261 is 209 ... -3 - 12 -2 -6... Approx 186 days of commuting ... * 45 minutes each direction

16740 mins
279 total hours spent commuting to/from work each year

Wow, even though my commute is tolerable at 45 minutes ... and I work from home 1 day per week ... it certainly adds up!!!!!

This type of thread just turns into an e-penis thread. How about a poll with ranges so we can get honest answers. Actually even more interesting would be two polls...one pool with how much you made per hour 2 years ago...and a second poll with how much you make per hour now. Would be interesting to see how the job market has affected ATOT.

Or just one poll with a delta.
