what's your age and how much you got? I'm 34 and have about 47k not real happy about it, trying hard to put as much as possible away, but I took a hell of a hit in the market from 2000 to 2003.

24 and i have a bit more then that but now i am focusing on paying down my house.

I'm 23, I've got about $10K in my companies profit sharing. I also purchase stock which is worth around 15K right now ... (not really a retirement account, however I am investing in long term growth stocks, not day trading or penny stocks. IE, the market taking a crap in 01 and 02 didn't really hurt me at all, though the value of my stock did depreciate a bit.

i am only putting 4 or 6 % of my pay into it, i should bump it up soon
