Hello people...long time no posting...
so i got in a car accident (i swear it was only half my fault)
....i was following this way way to closely when he hit the brakes to make a left turn...i was only doing like 35 so it wasn't THAT bad, i'll post some pics later tonight. i took my car to get an estimate to see how much it will cost to fix it or to at least find out what parts i'm gonna need to get replaced. i got a call today from the mechanic, grand total of $3057. labor alone is $1176, being that i can't afford that and that most men in my family are mechanics, i won't have to put up the money for it (my insurance doesn't cover the damages to my car). anyway, i asked the guy what parts i'm going to need just out of curiosity...the list is as follows...
grills
upper tie bar
left side panel
2 mount brackets
radiator (didn't break, not leaking, but he says it was bent)
fan shroud (fans are ok)
bumper cover
both headlights (although only the left one is actually broken)
left turning signal
a/c condenser
hood
hood lock
according to him, the parts amount to $1548...my question is...how much would these parts actually amount to?
oh...i have a 1999 toyota corolla 4dr CE...
