How much do professors make?

I know that their salaries are supposed to be public and I was told that there is a site where you can look it up. Does anyone know?

BTW, I am in Michigan if that helps.

Depends. Sometimes really a lot - $150k+ - but usually more in the $60-80k range, depending on where they teach.

Check Michigan's Secretary of State website. That's where it's located for Missouri.

Can you be more specific as to where it is on the Missouri SOS website?

In TN, I've seen them range from $40,000 to $90.000
Business, Science, and Math top out.....Language, English, Humanities, Philosophy, and Psychology are on the lower end.

I know two business professors here at UF are high rollers they probably make somewhere between $100-120k a year. I believe most of the other ones it's more like $60k ish.

$3.50/hour.

Ha.. wouldn't be surprised. I always assumed 25k or so but now that I see the associate professors salaries at universities it makes me second guess

Tenured professors probably make six figures. Lecturers probably around 50k, depending on how credentialed they are.

Tenured profs do not generally make 6 figures.
