You could get a cheapie that you can buy at a sporting goods store, or you could go all out and import a table...seriously, just depends on how much you want to get into it. You could get cloth that costs more than most tables, it's up to you.

Post pics when you get it, btw. I'm planning on about 5 hours of pool this weekend. ;) :D

Bought mine from previous owner of the house for $500. It cost them over $2000 when they bought it new. That table is heavy as a mofo. When we put in new carpet in the pool room, I had to pay the carpet installers extra + lunch to move that sucker back and forth. I know now why they were so willing to let it go for $500.

A decent one costs probably a grand minimum new.
If I was getting one I'd get an 8'x4' and spend at least $1000.

The one I have costs about $1200. I got a bit of a hot deal from connections.

round 1300 for a decent table (not flashy), but 3 piece slate, decent pumpers and felt. figure + 250 for balls and cues and misc. other junk.

Say you could easily walk into a billiards supply store and walk out 1500 to 15000 dollars poorer with a delivery date for a new toy ;)
