Looking at 3 Hondas...all the same year/model but different numbers of miles and different conditions...Which one would you pick?

Price - Miles - Condition
(1) $25.3k - 23k mi - Perfect
(2) $23.8k - 30k mi - Door ding, Hood scratch
(3) $25k - 18k mi - Front spoiler gone, Front Emblem scratched

#1, If the car is in good shape with more miles, that would mean generally the car has been treated better than the others.

The first one. It's a brain-dead decision. The first car has been taken care of better, dings and scratches tend to indicate poor maintenace which usually carries over into other areas. Get the car that's been babied even if it's got a few more miles. It's worth it even though it's the most expensive.

BTW, what model/year?

It better be an S2000 for that money, but I suspect that it's a V6 Accord EX. Offer them $20,000 when you go back to buy #1. (edit: You won't get it for that price, but you won't need to pay $25,300 for a car that's barely any more expensive new.)

10k extra miles on a Honda doesn't mean a thing IF the car has been taken care of properly (frequent oil/filter changes, etc).
Look at the overall condition of the cars (including floor, headliner/top, dash), and try to determine on the damaged ones if the driver was careless or it was caused by somebody else. That might tell you how the car was treated and driven.
The one w/ spoiler and emblem missing sounds like front end damage....which could mean more problems underneath.
