Actually your whole wiper assembly looks different...which makes me wonder if I'm getting the right one. I'm like 90% certain that my motor is mounted perpendicular to the bottom of the windsheild, whereas yours is more at a 45. Anyways that whole area of the cars looks different as I have the whole fusebox/relay panel in that corner of the engine bay as well. I think I'm going to have to go take another look at it on a warmer day, might have a whole 924 wiper assembly on e-bay pretty soon though if that's the case. Thanks for the pics though.
Ulp. The pre-'85.5 944 and the 924S use the same ($190 new) wiper motor. The post-'85.5 944 and the 968 use a different ($320 new) wiper motor. Since you were saying that the person told you that the motor was $180 new, it seems as though you've got an early wiper motor. On the other hand, the way my wiper motor is sounding lately... I might have a buyer for you if it turns out that you do have the wrong motor.

Alright, it's either yours or I can give it back to him since he sold it to me as fitting all 924/944/968's.

Hmm...so $320...hope I can find one of those in good condition on ebay :-/

Alright, let me check around on if my parking problems can be adjusted. Pelican should have the answer by tomorrow. Let me know what you'd want for it if, in fact, you find that it doesn't fit.

EDIT: Another one will come up eventually. If I can't adjust my own setup, you'll have some way to get rid of it if you need to. Otherwise, if you end up with it, sell it on Pelican. Actually, I'd recommend that you try Pelican's parts forum for the other motor you need, they've been good to me there. (This is basically the long way of saying that I don't feel like registering on E-bay just for a wiper assembly.)
