Where are you located? There's a local camera shop close to where I work that rents out lenses.. I rented a Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR a couple years ago. Was around $40 for 3 days (picked up Friday, returned Monday).

Renting a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 for one week insured costs $40. Shipping is another $21 on top of that.

None of the three lenses you listed are particularly expensive. They range from ~$300 to $450. At those prices, you might as well just just buy one used on a forum, try it out, and sell it if you don't like it. You are most likely going to be able to get all of your money back that way in case you don't like it.

Lens rentals are not worth it for relatively inexpensive lenses, IMO. For a $5000 supertele, it doesn't make sense to buy when you probably wont use it more than a few times, but for a $350 general use Sigma lens, it sure does make sense to simply buy the lens outright and sell it if you don't like it.
