How much do custom, aftermarket car seats go for? (I don't like my stock ones)

Well, after 7 months of ownership, I can say there are only two things I don't like about my 2001 Isuzu Trooper:

1. The mileage (14mpg no matter what you do...even driving like a human doesn't help)
2. The seats (They don't go back far enough and the armrest sucks...the power adjustments are snazzy, though)

I can't do anything about #1, but #2 I many be able to do something about.

How much would a pair of custom seats go for? They would have to be upholstered in the same fabric (gray print-type-looking fabric) to match the interior perfectly.

Not looking for 11-way adjustability, but they'd have to be "power seats" with at least Front/Back/Up/Down/Tilt adjustments...that's 5-way adjustability, right?

I've thought about somehow lengthening the frame rails that the current seats sit on...but metal fabrication isn't my bag, and I don't have those kind of tools anyway. Plenty of woodworking/hand/electrical tools and implements of destruction, but no metal-working stuff.

Any idea what two seats would go for? I see those "Fast and Furious" type seats in the mags and they are like $1K apiece. :Q Sounds like a rip for a non-power seat. I'm not looking for carbon fiber, darnit; just some comfy seating.

Thanks.

The cheapest method would be to scour the local wrecking yards and find a nice set of seats and adapt them to your vehicle.

Aftermarket seats go for $300 US and up for a good set. I have found some nice ones here corbeau under sport seats.
