How much cream cheese do you like on your bagel?

None, not that big a fan of it, oddly, I used to like it a lot, but now it's like meh, I prefer other things like butter, or peanut butter. I sometimes even put honey. I may as well just take an insulin shot at the same time. lol

Its that it's dense and dry and there's no decent crust.
It's just like cheap, mass produced bread that's designed to last for ever rather than taste good.

I've had a few, but I've never had one that's as light and airy as a good bread, and never one with as good a crust.
As BoomerD says, you don't boil bread.

Lots of people in the US probably have never had a decent bagel. The stale ones at the local supermarket aren't going to impress.
