I like my coffee like I like my wimmenz...either hot, strong, and black...or ground up and in the freezer. Either way, no cream and sugar for me.

I drink coffee for the effect so it's shitty freeze dried coffee with tons of Splenda and Vanilla creamer.

Just thought of an exception to my black-if-i-make-it-at-home rule... bourbon barrel cold brew coffee. A little maple syrup added turns it from really good to holy crap i just saw god with my mouth.

Option 3? 1 sugar (Truvia) and some cream per cup. *Really* good coffee - some foamed mild and done.
I have to admit - I really want to try some Turkish coffee now!

IMO coffee should still taste like coffee. I see people dumping sugar and coffee until all of the bitterness is gone and it resembles a dessert.

Is Dessertcart back? It's Salty isn't it? He sounds like Dessertcart after taking his meds.

If it doesn't cause palpitations its not strong enough as for cream and sugar sometimes being on the same table is too much,

In my work we meet a lot of IV drug abusers and general all round nutters. Without fail they will always bug you to make them tea and coffee all the time, without fail they always want lots of milk and a shit ton of sugar in their hot drinks.

Don't be like the druggies and nutters.

A touch of half and half. Nothing else. I put it in the bottom of the cup and pour in from the french press. It almost froths it and gives the coffee a nice texture. If it's a drip coffee...black is fine.

Good coffee is best consumed black, and if that's intolerable, it probably isn't good coffee.

that's kinda the point though - sometimes you don't have access to the good shit so you need to find solutions to make terrible coffee drinkable.

Ex: vietnamese coffee

I like Thai iced coffee in a baggie with a rubber band and a straw.

thick and black..... just like I like my beer.

when in the field, the site supervisor would come to my truck for coffee each morning, the other coffee on site was brown water. He would say something along the lines of "i only need one cup of this!"
