Your title says: "... to drive a GTX260". I think you meant GTX460.

I think other than in SC2, the Athlon II X4 635 did very good for the price. Considering you can get a mobo + 635 for about $100 at Microcenter, this forms a foundation for an unbeatable budget gaming rig that will also do pretty well in other every day tasks. AMD wins the budget round over i3.

I would have preferred to see older CPUs though like Q6600/6700, E8200-8500, etc. Also, why didn't they test the X2 555?
