How much CPU does DVD Shrink usually use?

Well yes probably. If youre one of the inexperienced and actually run it directly from the disc without decrypting it to the hd first, ya its gonna be limited to the dvd/rom drive.

Always put the files on hd first and run from that.
 
What's the point of putting it on the disk first? Right now I'm ripping/encoding at about 4mb/sec. I can do a DVD in about 50 minutes total.
