I built a new PC out of old parts laying around the house, and a lot of them from my old HTPC.
Anyways, the Specs:
1) A nice looking, but cheap black/silver ATX Case with Front Panel audio and 2 USB
2) A Cheap power supply, Bought a 500w Bro com? from new egg for 14.99, has 2 12v rails at 14a each. I would never use it, but this is the only part i needed to put together a complete PC so I decided to go cheap. It should work fine for the build.
3) AMD XP+ 5000 2.6 Ghz Dual Core Brispane 65w
4) Gigabyte 780G ATX Motherboard with Radeon 3200, SLI Ready, HDMI, DVI, VGA, 6 USB, 6 Channel Sound, Optical Audio, Gigabit Lan
5) Seagate 7200.10 80GB SATA Hard Drive for Windows, Western Digital 500 GB IDE Hard Drive for Storage.
6) Benq 16x Black DVD Multiwriter
7) 4GB (1x1gb) Buffalo PC2-5300 Ram
8) Windows Vista Home Basic, I have a OEM Key I'm willing to let go on this rig.
9) I have a 17" Dell Black CRT Monitor I can also include with it as perfect condition and not used by me.
This would use the onboard 3200 graphics which is actually pretty good for Onboard.
This machine is actually quite fast...No noticable difference in Web Browsing, Office use, HTPC use than current machines.
I put this system together out of parts I had to clean up, but to make some money to help offset the HTPC in my Sig I just recently built.
How much do you think I could sell it for on Kijiji? (aka Craigs list, etc)
