Discover gives 2% now?? WTF since when??
For at least the decade that I've had them. But to get the 2%, you have to get your money back in the form of a gift certificate to one of these companies. Since I shop at some of those stores anyways, instead of getting 1% cash back, I get a 2% gift certificate to where I'm going to shop.

Ah.. I thought they started giving 2% straight up. So if u choose cash then its only 1%

Most mortgages won't let you pay with a CC

Because of those double rewards companies you actually end up with 10% on Get More purchases.

I've got $340 available to me. I'm letting it just sit so I can get double rewards and go on a cruise at some point.

We get the 5% at Circuit City on Oct 1? I am probably going to buy the Toshiba M115 on Oct 1st too. :p Discover doesn't have a warranty extension so I might use my Visa.
