How much can I expect back on my taxes this year?

Are there any tax gurus out there who can give me a ball-park of what I can expect to get back on my taxes this year?

I estimate my gross pay wiill be ~$30,600 and the total taxes paid will be about $7,700. I am single, currently renting, and live in southern California.

$43.43

Seriously, go d/l the tax tables from http://www.irs.gov, subtract the standard deduction from your estimated gross income, match up your taxable income(gross income minus deductions) in said tax tables, subtract taxes from already paid taxes. If the number is positive, there's your refund. If it's negative, there's your payment to uncle sam.

it depends on zillion factors, including and not limited to whether you attend college. and i wouldn't share my income with strangers if i was you.

ASSUMING that your gross is 30600 and you pay in 7700 without any type of deductions other than your claiming yourself as a dependent and your standard deduction, your taxable income is 22,150 so your tax liability is 2,949 meaning you overpaid (assuming your estimate on taxes paid is correct) by $4,751

Seriously, redo your tax withholding form.
