First off, sorry if this is not the right place to post it. I was going to post it in FS/FT but I am not sure I want to sell it yet, I just was wondering how much it is worth.

Some guy offered me $400 for it. How would i securely sell it? I want to sell it and buy a PS3 Slim, since I would technically be making money and since I figure someone who wants a BC PS3 can use it. Any ideas?

Thanks all.

No price checks.

Is it the regular PS3+MGS4? I think its way overpriced at $400 since its a non hardware BC 80gb. $400 is probably the price range for a 60gb with hardware BC or not even, and that is valued a lot more than the 80gb one.

Why sell it if you're just going to turn around and buy another one? You'd be loosing features, but you know that.

Actually, that particular 80GB is partially hardware backward compatible. It is fairly similar to the original 20/60GB versions, with the hardware PS2 Graphic Synthesizer, but without the Emotion Engine.

Maybe he wants a Slim less power usage and less heat produced? Just speculating. Anyway, it is a toss up for some between lost of features and the lower power use and heat generated.

Seems like a simple choice. If you don't play PS2 games, sell it and get a slim. You get a smaller, cooler machine and a new warranty. $400 is more than fair.

Sorry if they are!

Isn't it also quieter? Plus I can get a 250gb for $250-300 on sale, or even cheaper for a 120gb which I don't mind (80gb is more than enough for me), so I'd be making money.

Thanks for all advice.
