How much are you willing to pay for cable/satellite TV?

You're getting as much TV as you're willing to pay for. You're not getting internet service.

But what if I want internet service as well?

If I'm getting basic cable, local channels and HBO I'd say up to $50/mo

I'll pay what I can afford.

Currently we're at ~$55/mo for basic+local+Cinemax/Stars

The main reason for the TV is that my wife is home all day, everyday so she needs some entertainment while ill.

Then, I pay $55 for my Cable internet. 🙂

amish

My limit for TV alone would be $50, but the cable company can probably screw me for way more by boiling me slowly to death with small price increases.

I always laugh when I get a notice of price "adjustments." Those adjustments always go in one direction . . .

i do quite nicely without any cable at all.
there isn't anything worth paying for on tv these days to start with.
rabbit ears all the way.

I'd pay £15 for Sky Digital and £25 max for Internet access if there was a poll for that 😀

Oh, guess I really didn't answer the question..

They're offering a deal where you can get Basic Cable for 10$/mo, and if you already have Cable Internet, they take 10$ off your bill.. making it free! 😉
