Fireworks on new years really is not that big a thing around here, being winter and cold out doesn't help , but you really only see them around July 4th here.

I reported a Razor scooter in my yard tonight. Probably stolen from some poor kids house. They asked my name, address and phone number, I wasn't expecting the police to come to the house over it. I told them it was on my swale propped up against my palm tree.

Officer was cool, he said he had to issue me a receipt to take the property, asked them how busy they were and he said it's only firework reports (it was 8pm).

People are demanding arrest!

I asked about domestic stuff and he said that goes off the chain once the ball is ready to drop.

One thing i hate about Living in IL is we can't get fireworks legally.

There's a cop living in our neighborhood that shoots fireworks every 4th of July and New Years.

We did several this year too, as did a couple other houses in the subdivision.
