So how much are the new hot games nowadays for the

XBOX

WII

PS3



How low do they fall to? And how long does it take?


For instance, PC games come out at about $40-50, but usually fall to $30 in a short time. And even fall to $10-20 after 1-2 years

Most Xbox 360 and PS3 games start at $60.
Most Wii games start at $50.

All are ~$5 cheaper at Costco, or $5 cheaper if you buy used from EBGames/Gamestop (used copies start showing up within the first couple of weeks), or ~$10 cheaper if you have the EBGames/Gamestop discount card.

I'm not sure how quickly the prices drop. However, I bought all of my 360 games for $25 or less, and the 360 has been out for 18 months FWIW.

Sports games and games with sequels drop faster.

Edit:
Battlestations: Midway came out 6 months ago. It now sells for $40 new. EB/GS sells it for $35, and with a $10 off coupon I got it for $25.
