depends on the car and what brand of brake pads. it also depends on if you are talking about the front or rear brakes.....

mintex rears and fronts (8 total pads) is about 80 bucks

usually pep boy has cheap front for like 28 and rear at 32.. better some are at 50 and rear 40.. aftermarket are similar too

you can look up prices at kragen, autozone, or pep boys.

prices are somewhat car specific, and like every else said, they can cost $10 each to $90 each depending on what exactly you want.

what car? i konw that for different cars to get oem performance, prices will vary. SUbie WRX Sti and EVO brake pads prices are through the roof while a set fro a toyota camry might only cost $100.

I suggest stay away from rockauto, they ship me the wrong stuff all the time and I have to bitch for refund THEN BUY FROM LOCAL OVERPRICED AUTOSTORE.

I suggest look on a car club forum for your model and see what people recommend and any sponsor site, they usually give good discount for club members.

If you look at performance I have good exp with Axxis/PBR Ultimate, it is kevlar and ceramic combined and you get ungodly good bites and heat resistance for non-track use, but they dust like a mofo.
