How much air should the intakes pull in?

I'm looking to replace my intake fans because my case temp. is currently around 40 degrees celsius in an air conditioned house and I want it to be cooler. The biggest culprit to my case temps. seems to be my intakes since I increased the power to the exhaust fans and it made a difference, albeit a minor one. The problem is that I really don't want my case to be very loud. I have two 80mm intakes that are connected so that they use less power and are quieter (I am not able to change this). I was looking at panaflo fans and looking specifically at the model that pulls 39.6 CFM of air at 32 db-A (there's also a model that pulls 46.7 CFM of air that runs at 38.2 db-A). If I used two of those as intakes, they would be pulling in about 79.2 CFM of air. Does anybody have any clue as to whether this can make a difference or if this is enough? Unfortunately I don't have any specs on the fans that came with my case, but they are the stock fans that came with a Lian-Li PC-65 case. Also, do you think those two fans creating 32 db-A of noise would be too loud? What about two at 38 db-A? I just wish I could test these fans somewhere, it would make things a lot easier.

Your fans should be pulling as much air as your ears can handle. You can sort of "test" the fans by going over to Sidewinder Computers and visiting their listening room. I'd recommend replacing the stock Lian-Li fans with Panaflos or some other brand that pulls more air.
