How many years apart are your parents in age?

I just read in the news about a 59-year old congressman who married a 35-year old woman. I'm sorry, but 24 years age difference is just a little bit too creepy for me. Is this woman desperate, greedy for money, or what?

As for me, my parents are 3 years apart in age -- he's 59, she's 56. I'm 26, my wife's 22. That's healthy and normal, while I think 10+ years in age difference between married couples gets a little awkward, and 15 years should be the cut-off point.

Your thoughts?

Mine are like 3 years apart or something.... I don't know for sure.

Personally, I really don't care about the age difference.

Well, probably the fact that if my wife were 24 years younger than I am, I'd be married to a two-year old! :Q:Q

subtract 10 from both and you have the approximate age of my parents.

Good point! Although if you were 54 you'd be married to a firm, young thing ;)

My parents are 3 years apart. One of my friends' parents are 20 years apart though. I bet it'd be kinda freaky to know that your dad was halfway through college when your mom was born :Q
