How many Word document pages is 2850 typed words?

Trying to allow time/length for a final takehome exam/paper that involves 6 questions with a suggested total length of 2350 words.
How many pages of typed text is that assuming standard 12 size times roman font with single or double spacing?

Around 4.5 or 5 pages I think.

My 1800 page paper double spaced with a heading is around 5.3 pages, so i'd say around 9.

My 3300 was 12 pages, although about 1~2 pages were taken up with pictures and bibliography.
9 or 10 sounds about right.

Really, it just depends on the size of the words you use.

For example, the average character count on the above sentence is definitely lower than the "six words" given by that answer. If your paper is "scholarly" and you can use big words in it, then use them. If your paper is more informal/regular formal, 2850 words will probably be less.

The paper that I'm working on right now is 17 pages long (double spaced), 5399 words if that helps, though.

Times, 12 point font, double spaced = just about 300 words per page.

So, if your title is correct that you need 2850 words, then count on 9-10 pages. However, if your posts is correct that you need 2350 words, then count on 7-8 pages.

Give or take a page or two depending on what you are writing.
