i was experiencing glitches in battlefield:vietnam,i thought it was the game cuz far cry works fine. I went to add/remove progs in the control panel so uninstll BFV. I selected it and pressed remove, a little error box popped up on and I accidentally pressed ok without reading it. Well it removed BFV from the add/reemove list but the game was still installed.

I went to start/progra/seagames/BFV/uninstall and it just sits there.
I also just tried to delete the folder completely in the c drive/program files and tried it that way. well after I deleted the whole EA games folder, I popped the BFV cd in to install it but the install button is "unclickable". I can run a repair/dont know how.

is there any other way that I can uninstall this game, the whole thing so I can install a fresh copy?

Im sure there are other way to uninstall but Im stumped..

please help=[

You could always delete the installation folder. It's probably under Program Files somewhere. If you want to be really thorough, you could delete any references to it in your registry (at your own risk).

Well, if all the files are gone, and all the registry keys are gone for it, there aren't any other places for things to be installed to. :)

Unless you have other EA Games installed, if you search your registry for "Electronic Arts" and "EA Games", and delete all the folders that are named either of these, then you should be able to reinstall and overwrite any remaining registry keys. Then if you don't want the game anymore, you can do a thorough uninstall from the add/remove programs now.

If you don't want to reinstall it, and you really want to get rid of EVERYTHING, then see if you can open up the installation log, and it will tell you exactly where it wrote registry keys to.

Work with your registry at your own risk. It isn't as dangerous as most people say as long as you know what you are deleting, but it's not something you want to screw with if you don't know much about it.

LOL.

Anyway, if you removed the physical files but it still didn't let you reinstalled. Just go into the registry and search for all things related to battlefield vietnam and remove it. It should let you reinstall after that.

BTW, please backup your registry before you start messing up in there.
