Those inverters are what? 180watts max? The inverter can probably handle an xbox alone just fine (Or how about going out to your car and trying it out?)

I put my Xbox in my car and decided to get a 300 watt power invertor. The Xbox ran off of it just fine and to see how much power I had left I brought out my 20" color TV and plugged it into the invertor...the xbox and the tv ran excellent :D Looked pretty weird seeing a 20" TV sitting right next to my car while I was playing Xbox on it, lol.

Anyway, I bet the Xbox only takes <150 watts.

It depends on the inverter.

There are 50W inverters and 5000W inverters.

Of course, the 5000W inverters run about 3000$.

I have a 300W peak and 125 continious inverter and it powered my xbox fine all the way to Denver, so I am going to say the xbox uses less than 125W
