how many uv light?

i need to know how many uv light would i need to light up my whole clear case? the dimensions are 17 x 8.75 x 18.5 in. i was thinking of a 12" on the bottom and a 4" on the top.

I have 2 12" and am getting 2 more 12" cause the first 2 didn't light like I expected

They do appear dimmer than regular cold cathodes, but that's just because most of the wavelengths emitted are outside of the range of human vision. Hold a piece of paper next to a blacklight, and it'll look brighter than the light itself. It absorbs the UV radiation, and it flouresces, shifting some of the absorbed radiation into the visible spectrum.
