Not me .. I am on cable tv (Cablevision) and as more and more channels
are being dropped off tje Analog lineup, you need to use a converter box
to decode the digital (standard or hi-def) channels .. so the tv tuner card
becomes useless.

When I want to watch TV, I go to my Ekornes stressless recliner and get wrapped up in my 40-in HD LCD. My computer is for work, etc., not chilling out with a movie. :)

I used to have an HDTV tuner; sold it last summer though (long story). Basically, I plan to get another one as soon as I graduate and move to a real city where I can receive HDTV broadcasts again :p

Definitely helps, I live in between a mile and 5 miles away from the 4 major networks HD towers and thus I get perfect signals and quality. Of course if I had my own house I'd invest in a real outdoor antenna if needed in order to get a perfect signal. But living this close it is far from necessary.

Yes I do, and it's been like that ever since the days of socket-7 and Cyrix MII processors. Today it's centralized, with a twin receiver for digital OTA and analog cable in the home server, and WLAN/LAN clients in the rooms.

Yes, PVR-150. I don't use it that often, but I think I spent a little under $50. $50 for occasional use is ok with me. On a related note, I'm bummed about no cable card in Vista unless you buy a pre built system.

I have a PVR-150 MCE in my HTPC that I use with Cablevisions optimum IO service I mostly record analog channels (though the built in tuner) but I sometimes record digital programs (Using a Scientific Atalanta 4200HD as a tuner to the S-Video on the card) I use the VCR timers on the Cable box to make sure it changes channels at the right time
