How many total AP classes taken?

How many total AP classes would be under your belt by the time you are out of high school? You must have taken the AP class the full year without dropping. Taking the AP test does not matter, just how many you've taken for one year successfully without dropping or failing.

I think I took 4 of the 5 offered in high school (didn't feel like taking Chemisty II at the time). Graduated in 2000.

How so? You get a full college credit so that you can graduate faster and save ton of money.

Yeah it was worth it cause I got some college credit hours so i could skip those BS classes

Depends on what your major is... Some of those classes dont count for anything you need...

Unless your a business major with buttloads of electives (like me), the college equivalents can sometimes be no more than a general elective credit.

Now, I had a little unfair advantage, as I will be going into my 5th year of High School. My sophmore year, I was diagnosed with Graves desease (a form of thyroid disease) and had to drop all but two of my courses that year. So next year, I get to take all kinds of crazy elective courses.

depends on you. let's say you take all these ap's but you don't know what you want to do. so you spend your time exploring. but you already had a year's worth of units so you get screwed out of a year. it really hurts in some schools that REALLY limit your time there, like UCLA now, whom is really worried about overcrowding.
