I purposely don't subscribe unless it is a question I have asked. I don't have the time in the day to read all of the emails coming in.

When you click on the subscribe button at the top of a thread, it will present you (at least with IE) a box that sidsplay all that you are subscribed to and allow you to unsubscribe from any that you wish to.

You may wish to trim down you subscription list if you can not get a visual count.
