Never not even when driving my Jeep on the trails. Although if you count taking off your tires and putting them like the rotation guy makes me think, put that in the hundreds, Jeeps suck :D

Changed a flat? maybe once or twice.

Changed tires in general? I've done it so many times I cant even begin to count.

Enough to know I really dont like doing it in single digit temps with wind blowing.
Enough to know doing it on a country road when its raining isnt much fun either.
Enough to know the shoulder suddenly doesnt seem quite so wide when your a$$ is about a foot away from 70+ MPG traffic.

To sum up...
Enough to know I dont like doing it.

so if the cars get worse gas mileage, is it less scary? ;)

ive done it probably 50-60 times...i dont like doing it either, but its not that bad.

Do it all the time, I got the flat fixed free at Big O Tire with coupons so much that they no longer offer it to me.

If by changing a flat tire you mean calling AAA and having them change it for me - then 3. If not, then zero....

rotating tires = 4 at a time?

Anyway, for what it's worth,
I find it much much easier to carry a can of fix-a-flat or other inflation type thing. (Bike pump is currently in the car.)
And a tire-patch kit... the one with the long poker thing, the glue, and the sticky hunks of rubber. Pump tire, wet tire, locate hole. Move car slightly forward if necessary, locate hole. Put rubber thingy on needle thingy. Jab into hole, push hard to insert the rubber thinging in so that it's barely hanging out. Remove pointy thingy. Inflate tire with pump. Done.
Quicker than jacking and replacing a tire.

Never.
Flats I've had I've been able to pump up and drive to the tire shop and get it fixed free.

I generally take the wheels off for other reasons.

The worst was when i was in the middle of the jungle of Costa Rica on a dirt road almost 5 years ago on the way to a "secret" reef break. Some kid on a riksha carrying wood helped me out, nice kid.

4 times probably.
when i first started driving, i'd get a flat tire per year, it was so annoying... just bad luck. I haven't gotten one in a couple years now.

You think?

Although I do remember a buddy putting his jack on wrong. So instead of lifting the car it just ripped up the quarter panel.

When I delivered newspapers I had to change 12 flat tires on one vehicle. 2 of them at the same time, the sharp rock I found also dented the rims on my trucks. Overall, I've lost count how many flat's I've changed.

I once brrrrr had to change a flat right after leaving work, while it was about 10f outside with a wicked wind making it almost 0f

It took me and my buddy about two hours to change it.
