It's almost 2am and I have to be up at 6am. I'm not tired at all right now and I couldn't fall asleep if I tried but I know that at about 4-4:30 I will be ready to sleep.

This sucks. Looks like this is going to be a long day.:(

It's midnight, I have class at 8:00, and I'm up drinking beer and watch Leno.... it happens to me all the time.

Well, it begs the question. At what point do you decide to just stay awake? With 2 hours left till you have to be up? 1? 30 minutes?

Personally I function better with no sleep than I do with an hour. In the latter case I just wake up disoriented (like some cold medicines make you feel) and with a headache.

That blows. Of all the people I've known that smoke weed (A LOT), none have ever been charged for it. Move to Santa Cruz, California :)

That's me seriously 5 days a week, I kid you not. I'm looking at about 4 hrs sleep tonight max

Dude... I went almost 2 years of being high all the time, from the initial wake-and-bake in the morning (1PM or later morning that is), to smoking anytime I felt like I was coming down, to the ending 4:20AM smoke. I ended up smoking almost 10 times a day, I never came down. I felt like what you are describing exactly ZERO times. Either what you had was laced (big possibility), or you've got some larger problems that you should talk to someone about.

I see.

My only real experience with someone busted for pot went like this:

He was about 20 or so living with his parents. He went to spring break or some such in Florida and while he was gone his mother smells/sees smoke coming from the basement. She called the fire department and they find one of those grow light things and a plant or two in a space under the basement stairs. The police came and collected the stuff and when he got back from his spring break trip his mother was there to drive him to the sherrifs dept. (they were waiting for him to surrender)

Anyway it was only 1 or 2 plants from what I hear and he wasn't charged with distributing it but he got 90 days in county jail anyway.

Sucked to be him.

But don't worry. I am sure you'll do fine. :)

Oh, and did I mention that I am starting a job today? The idea of falling asleep now and oversleeping makes baby Jesus cry. (I can sleep through anything. Well, once I fall asleep I can) I have always had to use 2 alarm clocks and occasionally even that doesn't work. :Q Yup, that would make a great impression with the new boss. :D
