How many times do you shave before throwing out a razor head?

I use an electric, and use a Mach3 razor for touchups. I change them out make once every 6 months.

I wish I had wussy facial hair. I shave Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and I can get by for about 4-5 shaves before it becomes painful. My facial hair is like a damn rock. Damn Mach3 and their expensive blades.

Every 5-6 days, depending on how the razor "feels" on my face. When it ceases to glide across the whiskers, it's time for a new one.

You kids that shave every three days make me giggle; I shave at 0530 every morning and by 1500 or so, I need a shave. :(

I stop using it when it feels like it's pulling the hair out of my face instead of cutting it.

use it for 2 weeks --> good for 10-12 shaves

I'll break out a new razor about every other month or so... mach 3 blades are expensive, and I only have 2-3 times/month anyways.

I've noticed no consistency.... sometimes they last a week, sometimes 2 months - even from the same package. Can someone explain why??

Yup, another when it starts to tug too much Vote here. Only shave 1ish times a week, though I should shave every second day as my hair grows in rather quickly.

4 months...

the key is to use soap - razor industry wants u to use cream/foam b/c it plugs up the blades and gets hard forcing you to buy more

I use electric first pass, and then clean up with blade

Yep. When it scrapes instead of shaves, time to get a new one. (Mach3 Turbo)

I'm jealous of the little bastards in that respect - they can look presentable even without a shave. This summer, I'd shave at 7:30 before heading to work, and by the time I got home at 5 my face felt like 40-grit. :p

Well, we know someone who's insecure with his penis size. :p
