How many times can I enter my purchased game code on a computer?

How many time can i install my unreal tournament 3 on a computer that i can play online with?

i am in middle of thinking to reformat my computer but im hesitating cause i have a brand new sealed unreal tournament 3 that have never been installed before. if i install it now.... then few days later i reformat my computer, i afraid i cant install/ use the code again.

so how many time can the code be entered on a computer?

I don’t think UT3 has online activation, so it can be installed infinitely.

You can actually activate Unreal Tournament 3 on Steam (and it will upgraded to the Black Edition as well) and from the Steam page for the game there is no DRM so you could DL it as much you want with no problems.

i dont use steam. can i still install unreal tournament 3 disc anytime i want? in unlimited computers? that will let me play online?

note i got soldier of fortune paykback disc and i install in one computer and play online with it. then i install it in another computer that is at the same room so my friend and family member can play online with me.... but it wont let me go online. assumption must have two seperate disc to install.


so will my brand new un-use unreal tournament 3 be able to install in multiple computers that let me play online on all computers that i install it on?


and also want to know the original question about if i install it on my computer now then a day later i decided to reformat my computer.... will it let me install again and play online with it?

No you can't play with 1 copy of the game installed on multiple PC's. When a game goes online to be played, the serial/cd key is used and that is why you can't buy the game once and have everyone in your house play it for free. Only one pc at a time can play online.

i see yeah thats what i thought cause i cant play online at the same time with soldier of fortune payback.

say i install unreal tournament 3 right now and play online with it..... tomorrow i reformat my computer.... then install unreal tournament 3 again.... can i still be able to play online with it?

One online connection per CD key is how it works. So if computer A and computer B have the same CD key, only one can connect online at a time. So if you connect with A, you’ll need to disconnect it before B can connect.

But the game can be installed repeatedly across any combination of computers as the CD key itself doesn’t have DRM.
