I`ve lost two so far, one through decay & one that was healthy but had to be pulled.

I've lost 8 in my adult life.

Well not really. I have all my adult teeth.

I only have 24 teeth in my mouth. That's all that ever grew in.

No second molar on either side top or bottom, and no wisdom teeth ever grew in.

(No wisdom acquired either.) 😛
 
None for me.

My wife had seven pulled (4 wisdom and 3 regualar) for her adult braces. They are off now and her smile is better than ever!!! It was a great investment in time and money. 🙂

Dry socket was the single worst experience of my life!!!!!!

4 days of agony and pain!!!!!

I literally wanted to knock myself out with a hammer!!!

Be afraid, be VERY AFRAID!!!.
 
I guess I had it lucky. I didn't have to deal with dry socket because my teeth were still behind the gums when they got ripped out.

The pain killers were oh so nice, though :Q

A total of 4, all wisdom teeth.
 
I had to have two of my top teeth removed for braces.
I still have my 4 wisdom teeth.

oh and all my baby teeth.
