Default tooth count, 28? I never had any wisdom teeth. I had lots of dental work when I was young. All but one of my baby teeth were pulled prematurely by the dentist and I guess two of my permanent teeth as well. I have a small mouth and there wasn't room.

Cavities: My molars were all capped as they came in because they formed without a top. So cavities aren't really much of a possibility.

Extra info: I'm a grinder, and I further aggravate any loss of length since I have picked up the nervous habit of rubbing my tongue along the sharp edges. One of my wisdom teeth only descended half way. My wisdom teeth did cause larger than normal gaps between my second incisors and my canine teeth on the top.
