Since I'm a teacher in training, I was just wondering how many teachers are on the forums. Please list your specific field too.

I am studying to be an Elementary School teacher. I will finish my BS in about two years. I plan on getting a masters and perhaps and doctorate.

Oh, I forgot my field of study. I'll either end up teaching elementary general music, or I'll stay in school till I get my PhD and teach jazz at a college/university. Seems like an extreme, but I would love to do both.

Frenchie, if you don't mind me asking, do adjuncts get compensated well at all for teaching a class or two a semester?

I'm not teaching now, but I'm going back to school and I'm leaning towards becoming a teacher.
