My friend wanted Red Hat, so I burned him all 4Cds. I'm just going to wrap them in paper, anybody know how many stamps I need to put on it?

wow, you're going to mail him broken CDs?

put them in some decent packaging, and go to staples and weigh the sucker =P. staples sells those mail weighing dealies... if it's less than a pound, you can just mail it. otherwise, you have to get on line.

I THINK it cost me $1.68 to mail 6 cds in jewel cases in a box, but I'm not sure.. you will probably have to go to the post office.

The post office should have a scale you can use yourself. Just use it to get the # of ounces and they should have a chart that lists the price for each level. I haven't waited in line for a long time, except to mail out my tax returns with the confirmation. I >could< do the confirmation thing myself, but it's a little more complicated and I don't do it often enough to remember how to do it.

BTW, I think I sent out 2-3 CD's once, wrapped in a cardboard thing, and it was 2 stamps. I usually put an extra stamp on it, just to be on the safe side.
