I'm waiting for at least another generation to go by. Once you get Seagate and Western Digital in there, hopefully competition and price will get better. My co-worker picked up an Intel SSD, but hasn't used it because of the TRIM firmware issue (now fixed?).

I don't need one for my desktop, but will probably get one for my next laptop.

18 GS Kill Falcon 128GB.

Looks like the price on these has gone up quite a lot since procurement back in May!

one 32GB Samsung SLC which houses a SL install very well given how much smaller SL is.

One 80GB Intel G2 MLC which holds Win 7 on my laptop and leaves me with plenty of space for other data the rest being on the Home Server.

I want one more maybe 40GB for a Windows 7 install on my desktop. It has 2 1TB drives for data in addition to all the free space on the Home Server.

2, with a 3rd on the way.

Likely going to be moving my Intel 80 G1 into my Lian LAN (HTPC/LAN party PC), & will put the new 80 GB G2 into in its place.

120 GB Agility is secondary in the main system; contains games.

Just one, Intel x25-M G2 160GB. Every future system I build will have one, though.

The word is Micron is putting out a new SSD in Q1 of 10' and it will beat the best Intel drive. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Bit-tech did a review of the JMicron 612 controller. On the random writes, it's between the Indilinx and the Samsung. Probably "good enough" to be useable, but not close to the Intels here.

Edit: Er, please ignore. I misread Micron for JMicron.
