How many speeding tickets have you had in your lifetime?

Seriously guys, I hold the record. I honestly got 6 tickets in ONE DAY.

Guy I knew back in the day got in a high speed chase involving several police departments in NY and CT.

By the time they finished throwing the book at him I believe he had 26 separate violations and lost his license for 3 years.

Basically it stemmed from an accident on my way to school back in the late 1980s. The cop wrote me up for anything he could think of.

I was first sad at getting 3 tickets and wrecking the car but then I drove angry and wound up getting pulled over again later that SAME day by another cop.

The 2nd cop asked me why I was driving that way, and I told him the story and showed him the 3 tickets I had gotten earlier. THEN THAT IDIOT took them back to his car and proceeded to WRITE ME THE SAME GOT DAMN three tickets again!

Now I had 6 of them ....... on the same got damn day!




The next day I took them to the traffic attorney's office. When I explained why I had so many tickets literally everyone started gasping or mumbling "OH MY GOT!!!!"

I cant even put a number on the amount of citations over 40 years of driving. I lost count a long time ago.

The last speeding ticket I got...must have been 1997, at about 4 am on my way to work.

Ever since I started driving using my CDL license I've been pretty protective of it. I recall the last ticket I was just daydreaming in the wife's Honda, I think I was up to 70 on a 55 mile per hour mountain road it's really wide and smooth. Oops!
I paid to fight that one because I didn't want to
Ding my CDL. It worked out.
Now cruise control is my friend.

I have been driving for almost 40 years and I have gotten a handful of speeding tickets during that time. I would say more than 3 but not more than 5.

Not for lack of trying though… having a car with almost 500hp doesn’t help.

Like a lot of others have said it has been along time since I've gotten a speeding ticket or any ticket for that matter so it's hard to remember exactly. I voted 3-5 though as that seems right.
